Knee Injuries and Disorders
Your knee joint is of bone, cartilage, ligaments and fluid. Muscles and tendons assist the knee joint move. When any of these structures is hurt or ailing, you have knee problems. Knee problems may cause pain and difficulty walking.
Arthritis is the majority common disease that impinges on bones in your knees. The cartilage in the knee slowly wears away, causing pain and swelling. Injuries to ligaments and tendons also cause knee problems. An ordinary injury is to the frontal cruciate ligament (ACL). You typically injure your ACL by an abrupt twisting motion. ACL and other knee injuries are general sports injuries.
