Child development phases
As they grow up, children go through different stages. The type of childcare they require changes with them.
Infants (birth -14 months) require feeding, diaper changes, slumber, love and one-on-one contact. If your baby is between 6-13 months, he or she may possibly understand outsider and division concern. Newborn need a quiet, comfortable environment; to be apprehended smoothly and speak to; soft temperate materials; stability in caregivers; and a chance for mobility. Young baby need to go behind their individual sleep and eating program.
Toddlers (ages 15 months to 2.8 years) are filled of energy and like to discover. They require a selection of actions - toys, art projects, water and sand tables, outdoors play - to motivate them. They have the benefit of being with new children, but may have difficulty playing with them. Grown-up toddlers will be learning to make use of the toilet. Toddlers want close care and personal consideration; dependable limit surroundings; chances for language growth; to be talked to frankly; to be confident to do things for themselves; space to move about; and appropriate materials.
Preschoolers (ages 2.9 to 6 years) are preparatory to shape friendships with other children. They are learning to use words to express their requirements and communicate to others. They require a steadiness of active play, quiet play, group play and character time. Preschoolers could do with openings for selection; available materials; to be concerned in proper activities; opportunities to raise language and other skills, as well as their kind of the world; to learn to cooperate with peers; reliable and compassionate responses from adults.
School-age children (ages 6-14 years) can do many clothes for themselves, but still require adult supervision. They can convey themselves, recognize and obey regulations and take care of equipment, materials and properties. After school, children want time to calm down, play and do homework.
